mepco-bill.com lets anyone check a Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) electricity bill by entering the 14-digit reference number or the consumer ID printed on the bill. It shows the payable amount, due date, meter reading, units consumed and the 12-month billing history — the same details as the printed bill.

Alongside the lookup tool, the site explains the things people usually need next: the current tariff, how to get a duplicate bill, how the bill is calculated, where to complain, and how to reduce consumption.

Every bill shown here is fetched live from the official billing system run by PITC (Power Information Technology Company), the IT arm that operates billing for MEPCO and the other distribution companies under WAPDA. We do not calculate, estimate or store bills — we simply retrieve the official one and present it in a form that is easier to read on a phone.

The official portal works, but it is slow on mobile, gives little guidance when a bill does not appear, and answers none of the questions that follow — what the slabs mean, how the surcharge is applied, what to do about a wrong reading. This site sets out to be the faster, clearer version of that experience, free and without a login.

Where we publish facts such as complaint numbers, tariff figures or app details, we take them from official sources and say which source. Where published information contradicts itself — peak-hour timings are a good example — we say so rather than pick one and present it as certain.
