What is MEPCO MIS?
MIS stands for Management Information System. It is the online system Multan Electric Power Company uses internally to handle consumer records, meter readings, billing runs, recovery reports and departmental data across its region — Multan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan and the surrounding districts.
Because it holds departmental data, the MIS portal opens on a login screen. Accounts are issued by MEPCO to its own employees and authorised users, so a normal electricity consumer cannot register for one.
Who can log in to MEPCO MIS online?

There is no public status page for mis.mepco.com.pk, and the portal has no guaranteed uptime — it is an internal government system, not a consumer service. In practice it goes down during monthly billing runs, at night when batch jobs run, and during power or connectivity failures at the head office. Even when it loads, the only thing a consumer can reach is the login box.
How to tell what is actually wrong
- • Page will not load at all — the MIS server is down. Nothing you can do; it is not your connection.
- • Login box appears but rejects you — working as intended. Consumer accounts do not exist.
