How to Check MEPCO Bill Online

Step-by-Step Guide
Find Your Reference Number
Look at your printed MEPCO electricity bill. On the top portion, you will see a 14-digit reference number followed by U (Urban) or R (Rural). For example: 09152410550607 U
Go to MEPCO Bill Check
Visit mepco-bill.com. You will see the bill check form at the top of the page.
Enter Your Reference Number
Type or paste your 14-digit reference number in the search box. You can enter it with or without spaces and dashes — the system handles it automatically. Then select U or R from the dropdown.
Click Search
Click the Search button. The system will fetch your bill directly from the official MEPCO/PITC server. This takes 10–15 seconds.
Your Bill Appears
Your complete MEPCO electricity bill is displayed showing: consumer name, bill amount, due date, units consumed, tariff, and full billing history.
Checking Bill by Consumer ID
If you don't have your reference number, you can also use your Consumer ID:
- Go to mepco-bill.com
- Click the "Consumer ID" button in the search form
- Enter your consumer ID number
- Click Search
Your consumer ID is printed on your bill as "CONSUMER ID" — it is a 10-digit number.
Tips & Common Issues
Wrong U or R selected
If you get no results, try switching between U and R. Your bill clearly shows which one applies.
Spaces and dashes are fine
You can enter the reference number as "09152 4105 50607" or "09152-4105-50607" — all formats work.
Bill takes time to load
The system fetches data directly from MEPCO servers which takes 10–15 seconds. Please be patient.
