If your MEPCO bill seems too high, your meter reading is wrong, or you are facing a prolonged power outage, you have the right to file a formal complaint. MEPCO has multiple channels for this.

The fastest way to register a complaint. Call 118 (free, 24/7). Have your reference number or Consumer ID ready. You will be given a complaint number — save it for follow-up.
File Complaint Online — Step by Step
Go to mepco.com.pk
Visit the official MEPCO website and click on "Consumer Services" or "Complaints".
Register / Login
Create an account with your Consumer ID and CNIC. Existing users can log in directly.
Select Complaint Type
Choose from: Billing complaint, Wrong reading, Power outage, Connection issue, Meter fault.
Enter Details
Provide your Consumer ID, reference number, complaint description, and attach a photo if needed.
Submit and Save Reference
Submit the form and note your complaint tracking number.
Follow Up
Check complaint status online using your tracking number. You can also call 118 to follow up.
Escalate to NEPRA
If MEPCO does not resolve your complaint within the committed time, escalate to NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority). File at nepra.org.pk or call 0800-63772 (toll-free). NEPRA has authority to penalise MEPCO for unresolved valid complaints.
